Introducing my Halloween specials: A Night at The Countess's! Inspired by the Hungarian countess Elizabeth Bathory (Bathori Erzebet), who is (in)famous for being the first recorded female serial killer who was accused to have targeted young virgin girls and bathed in their blood to maintain youth and beauty, this line imagines a night at her place sharing her beauty products (wink wink), and it is based on a rooibos blend that is caffeine free. The scent is fruit and sweet and the products focus on nourishing and hydrating the body while immersing oneself in the secret chambers of the countess.
The first in this line is a nourishing face mask, The Countess's Skin Care. It's a mix of rooibos and hibiscus with various herbs and a sweet scent, and it will mix into a smooth paste that will look like blood on your face when you lather on a thick layer of it. Perfect for a night of horror, while leaving your skin breathing and sighing happily!
This face mask comes in 2oz tins with enough for 5-6 uses.
Instructions:
Wash and dry face before using the mask. Add water to form a smooth paste. Massage paste onto face, avoiding the area around the eyes. Leave on for 5-10 minutes, rinse off.

The second of this line is The Countess's Bath. It's a bath tea that will colour your bath blood red, and immerse you in the sweet and fruity scent of this rooibos blend-- one that only the highest quality blood has, like any vampire will tell you 😉 The bath won't look like the thick blood that you see in the movies, but it will look the colour. The bath will start out more pink, and as you keep squeezing the tea bag, more and more red colour will be released into your bath and colour it red- it will be like you're the one doing the work to extract the blood for your beauty care-- like the countess herself! Like the other products in this line, it's aimed at nourishing your body while you relax in your tub after a hard day (of ... working in your basement?).
This bath tea comes in 2 ways-- you could get 65g (one bath's worth) of bath tea in a cloth bag, which is reusable after the bath; or, if you have your own cloth bag, you can get it in the beautiful candle jar pictured, which comes with a tea light to put into the jar after you empty the content into a tea bag, to make your bath even more atmospheric and relaxing.
Instructions:
Place the bath tea in a cloth bag. Place into the bath and add in hot water on the hottest setting to about half the tub, then fill up the rest of the tub with cooler water to bring to a comfortable temperature. Continue squeezing the tea bag to release more colour.

The third of this line is The Countess's Evening Routine. Design to be enjoyed by both your palette and hair, it's at once a hair rinse and a tea! As a tea, it's a fruity and tart blend of rooibos tea with just a hint of flora notes, to be enjoyed as an evening tea (or morning, whenever you prefer!) to help you relax before bed. For hair, it's a sweet hair rinse that will nourish your hair and scalp, calming any irritation and enriching your hair colour; especially recommended to use with The Countess's Bath, but it's a red tea that will add a bit of luxury to any daily routine!
This tea comes in 2 ways-- you could get 2 sealed (2tsp each) tea bags of the tea in a 2oz tin, or 5 tsp of the tea in the same tin if you have your own infuser. More loose or in tea bags can be requested, just send me a message!
Instructions:
For Tea: Brew 2 tsp (1 tea bag) of tea per 350ml of 98°c water for 5-7 minutes.
For Hair Rinse: Brew 2 tsp (1 tea bag) of tea per 300ml of 98°c water, filter once it's cool. Pour over hair and scalp after shampooing, leave on for 10-15 minutes, rinse off.

Next in this line isThe Countess's Lips, a lip balm. It is a bit different from my usual tea care products but I wanted to add something extra to round out and complete the line. I've only made a small batch of it so grab it before it's gone! The Countess's Lips is a lip balm made from cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, and beeswax, and coloured with hibiscus and red mica. It is unscented but has the natural sweetness of cocoa butter and beeswax. The balm itself looks red but, unlike a lip stick, it will just give your lips a little boost of colour, perfect for that natural make up look! 1 tins comes with about 6g of lip balm (most of them will be over as I'm still perfecting my pouring technique.)

The last product in this line is The Countess's Perfume, a wax melt. It is a bit different from my usual tea care products but I wanted to add it to round out and complete the line. I've only made a small batch of it so grab them before they're gone! The Countess's Perfume comes with two wax melt flowers that are layered. The top flower part is white and the bottom part is red, and is meant to look like the white flower is bleeding and perishing into nothingness. The scent is sweet with orange and vanilla at the forefront with a hint of lavender and geranium rose, and will gradually end with the sweet vanilla scent lingering in the air. The overall scent is mild and subtle, and won't be overwhelmingly on your nose as you melt the wax. Each bag comes with 2 flowers that can be used multiple times each.
