Female Painters Inspired Tea: Evening Herb Garden

The last of my 5 female painters series is Evening Herb Garden, a green rooibos herbal blend that is herbaceous, refreshing, and calming. My version of a sleepy tea. Inspired by the Portrait of Emma, Lady Hamilton, as the Muse of Comedy (1791) by Angelica Kauffman, I wanted to create a tea that is fun but also soothing, that makes you feel like you're on a balcony enjoying the evening breeze on vacation on the Mediterranean coast, along with all the different sensory notes that comes with it. Angelica Kauffman was a Swiss neoclassical painter who had a successful career in London and Rome, and was one of the founding members of the Royal Academy in London in 1768. She was primarily a history painter, and painted mostly classical scenes as her painting subject. As a former classicist (who wrote her thesis on women in Roman comedy), it feels extra special for me to include this portrait and Angelica Kauffman in my female painter series 🥰

Each bag comes with 25g of loose tea, enough for about 9 cups. Tea in tea bags or different sizes available upon request.

Local delivery is available for purchases $30 and above for Halifax Peninsula and Dartmouth area.
